Last week on Saturday Breakfast with Alison Curtis, we asked you to tell us where, or what you thought was the Best Family Day Out.
And thanks to all the Saturday Breakfast listeners’ submissions, we officially have a WINNER.
WHERE will be crowned the winner of Saturday Breakfast’s Best Family Day Out.... *drumroll*
It is indeed the Wells House & Gardens, Co. Wexford.
Runner up, as voted by you, is The Lullymore Heritage And Discovery Park with its guided tours of an elegant Victorian house, plus woodland walks, an adventure playground and falconry, all waiting to be discovered.
In third place it is the Cork-based Fota Wildlife Park, with it's 75-acre wildlife park, opened in 1983, the park is home to nearly 30 mammal and 50 bird species.
In fourth place, is one of Ireland's loved attractions, Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park which has many activities to excite the whole family.
And in fifth place, Teddy Bears Picnic in Carlow, visit the teddy bear factory; hop on board the Rathwood Express with the 3 Bears and enjoy a picnic with your new friends.
