Our favourite part of the week is upon us and what better way to kick it off then by tuning into #WeekendBreakfast here on Today FM. Alison takes the to the mic. from 8-11am tomorrow morning for Saturday Breakfast, and as always, she has an action-packed 3 hours lined up.
In the first hour we have a couple of our much desired #WeekendBreakfast tote bags up for grabs, and we will also be chatting to Evan McNamara, our latest member of The Little Reader's Club, with thanks to Eason's of O'Connell St., Dublin.
9-10am: Alison will be learning more about the intriguing Sustainability Weekend being run by Dublin Zoo & SSE Airtricty, as she chats with Marketing Manager, Anne McAleavey.
Then in the final hour, as well as more unbelievable tunes, we'll be brought up to speed with what's happening in those hills of Donegal ("Ohhh Las Vegas...."), as Taste of Donegal Festival chairperson, Ernan McGettigan will be on the phone line to wet our appetite.
The cherry on top is having food guru, Domini Kemp in studio to teach us some amazing 'Back to School' lunch ideas for the little ones. This lady certainly knows her stuff - so we'll get a few tips for the adults too (wink-wink).
#SundayBreakfast hits the airwaves from 7am where there are even more tote bags to be won (say whaaaaaaaat???), and we will be enlightened by the Director of The Salmon Of Knowledge Festival, Mick Hughes, after 8am. The event takes place on the lawns of Trim castle and is a fun-filled family day out.
So whether you're having a well deserved lie in, up frying the sausages, or on the road with the crew, tune into #WeekendBreakfast and let Alison Curtis help you along the way. We LOVE playing requests too, so all messages to 53102, email live@todayfm.com or on the Twitter machine @AlisonTodayFM
