Dubliner Orla Gartland has a new single out called FLATLINE. It showcases Orla's confessionary songwriting style and it's not too hard to see why critics compare her to Stevie Nicks. We are more than happy to feature her as one of our Play Irish artists this week.
FLATLINE is, in Orla’s own words: “A song about giving everything to a friendship and getting nothing back. I'm a fiercely loyal person, often to my detriment - I'll do everything I can to keep someone happy, but often turn a blind eye to the reality that they wouldn't do the same for me.”
The song features on the forthcoming EP WHY AM I LIKE THIS which will be released on 24th May. The EP is comprised of four songs which have been written by Orla when she lived over in London for a spell, take a listen to FLATLINE here:
