Sightsavers are back with their Bright for Sight fundraising campaign this summer.
About 285 million people around the world live with visual impairment, with 36 million people living with blindness.
People are often surprised to learn that 75% of sight loss can be cured or prevented.
Sightsavers work in more than 30 developing countries to prevent blindness, restore sight and advocate for people with disabilities.
Sightsavers are asking businesses across the country to go Bright For Sight this June and raise vital funds for the cause.
#BrightForSight is fast approaching and we want your company to join us in turning Ireland yellow on June 21st. It couldn't be easier wear something yellow into work and show your support for our work! Email bright@sightsavers.ie to register.

On Friday 21st of June they're asking as many people as possible across Ireland to take part by wearing something yellow into work.
Whether it's your brightest t-shirt, an eye-catching pair of socks or that banana costume from Halloween 5 years ago.
Why yellow? It's the colour that's easiest to identify for people with a visual impairment.
The money you raise can make a huge difference to someone's life.
