US comedian and actor Bob Newhart, has died at the age of 94.
He was known for his role in US sitcom, 'The Big Bang Theory' and Christmas film, 'Elf', as well as his own show 'The Bob Newhart Show', which aired between 1972 and 1978.
His publicist said he passed away after "a series of short illnesses".
His career began as a stand-up comic in the late 1950s.
More recent work included Horrible Bosses and the TV series The Librarians, as well as Big Bang Theory spin-off series, Young Sheldon.
