What a week! Following last Sunday’s show, I headed to St Vincent’s Hospital to finally have my dodgy knee seen to. I am happy to say that I got the best of the HSE with excellent care from Mr Gary O’Toole and his team.
I had key hole surgery and a general anesthetic that allowed me the best sleep I have had in years. I woke up Wednesday morning with no knee pain for the first time in 2 years.
This weekend I am off to Killarney for the 8th annual Bike show at the INEC. It’s a slightly later show on Saturday and I kick off at 1pm. Don't worry - I will still have "The Classic 9 At 1....... (it's a working title). It’s a toss up between taking Cawley’s Caddy or my bike! Watch this space.
