Every week, Betfair's Barry Orr places €100 on a bet of his choice, with the winnings going to a charity nominated by The Phil Cawley Show crew.
At this time of year, there is nothing more important than making sure every child wakes up with a present on Christmas morning so we've nominated Saint Vincent de Paul as our charity bet right across the Christmas season. So far, Barry has brought in €600 for SVP's 2015 Toy Appeal and we were thrilled to present this to them on Saturday live from The Gaiety Theatre, with the help of Olaf!

SVP are heading into the most important week for SVP, collection week. This culminates with SVP Sunday on the 13th of December.
The East Region call centre which is Dublin Kildare and Wicklow are receiving 700 calls a day for help. This is up 7% on this time last year and we expect by the end of the year they will have received 65,000 calls for help in 2015.
