Paul McLoone has picked The Doors debut album The Doors as his #ClassicAlbumOfTheWeek.
The album drove psychedelic rock into a new, more defined dimension so its no surprise its sold over 20 million records. Through its innovations, it has embedded itself within the fabric of rock history.
It has been 50 years since they performed Light my Fire on The Ed Sullivan show, only to be banned because they didn't sing the words the producers wanted changed.
"Girl we couldn't get much Higher" was supposed to be "Girl we couldn't get much better", watch it below.
