Calling all wedding dress owners, we want you to Dare To Care this September, all in the fight against cancer.
Wedding Dress Wednesday is back and this year it's bigger than ever!
We’re daring the women (and men) of Ireland to dig out wedding dresses and do what they’d normally do on a Wednesday, but in a wedding dress.
This year, the date to remember is Wednesday 20th of September 2017.
Last year Michelle Hanlon from Dundalk organised a massive event for Wedding Dress Wednesday 2016 with 77 brides taking part.
It was all in memory of her beloved cousin Mairead Oliver who lost her battle to cervical cancer that February.
Mairead (pictured) was just 39 years old and was the mother of a 17 year daughter.
Michelle and her brides managed to raise a whopping €5,322.50 for Dare to Care in Mairead's name.
Like us, Michelle wants to go bigger and better this year and is planning another event, this time with over 100 women taking to the streets of Dundalk all wearing wedding dresses on Sunday 24 September.
