#Dare2Care is back, and after the success of 'Wedding Dress Wednesday' last year, Today FM have decided on a return of the idea, only this year making it bigger and better (Wednesday, September 20th).
With this in mind, Shauna from the breakfast show was given a nudge by one or two of our lovely listeners, to try and get Iano into a frock for this year's event. What?? Ian Dempsey in a wedding dress????? Although the main man is quite amused by the novelty of it all - he's not feeling it, so a couple of Ireland's top ladies picked up their phones to put the squeeze on him.
Miriam O'Callaghan was first on the blower to offer her wealth of marital knowledge. She feels he could, "genuinely be one of the girls" and even thinks she could hook him up with the perfect gown! Iano is looking for some 'freshness' though.
Next up was Joan Burton who says she ticks all the boxes when it comes to being the perfect bridesmaid - so that's one less job for him I suppose. Ear plugs would be a perfect wedding gift from her.
The dress isn't the only important factor on the day though as you have to be 'glowing' all over, so who better to give tanning advise than model and Exposé babe Glenda Gilson. Her tips are simple, "even layers", "spread the legs" and "get every crevice".
Fitting into the dress is paramount, so Dr.Eva called to give Iano a stern warning about the 'wedding dress diet', "You don't want people saying look at the size of Ian Dempsey's bottom!".
If he ever puts on a dress, for whatever reason, he's well enlightened now.
