Not long now until the Billboard Music Awards 2018 hit the bright lights of Sin City, and the list of nominations has been revealed.
Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. are flying the flag for Ireland with four nominations in the Top Touring Artist, Top Rock Tour, Top Duo/Group & Top Rock Album categories.
This is of course on the back of their Joshua Tree Tour last year where they commemorated the 30th anniversary of their 1987 album of the same name.
The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 grossed $317 million, making it the year's highest-grossing tour globally, and it sold more than 2.71 million tickets from it's 51 shows...UNREAL!!
Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar and Bruno Mars have topped the nominations for the awards, each receiving 15 nods. All three are up for Best Artist where they will compete with Drake (who has 9 nominations) and Taylor Swift (who has 5).
Top Female Artist will be contested by Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Halsey, Demi Lovato and Swift - with NO Beyoncé. There's still only one Queen Bey though...
The ceremony will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Sunday May 20th, and will be hosted by the one and only Kelly Clarkson. This will be the singers first time emceeing an event like this, but if her first season as coach on The Voice USA is anything to go by, she'll smash it out of the park.
