James Corden’s chat show has been airing in the US for over a year, and it’s finally set to make its Irish debut on July 19!
The Late Late Show will air exclusively on Sky, one day after its US broadcast each week.
The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special will also begin on July 19 and feature clips of all of Corden’s favourite moments from the show.
Also in TV news – Imelda May’s show has been axed from RTE – they don’t have the budget to make the show this year, having signed Nathan Carter up to do a stint in the autumn.
Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are knockin’ around Ireland at the moment. She tweeted;
“In Ireland as my love @johnnymcdaid sends me off into the wilderness for the @beargrylls show. It’s already raining!”
She will star in Bear Grylls’ survival show alongside champion ski racer Lindsey Vonn for two days of gruelling tasks.
Coronation Street bosses are really excited about the increase of output to 6 shows a week – but the crew are reportedly dreading it. Apparently the actors are already at breaking point with 5 shows a week and this 6th episode will cause a revolt among cast, crew and writers. The new producer Tony Hammond is supposedly terrifying – he came from Emmerdale and there have been reports of him ripping up episodes after the writers have finished...
Reaction from the general public seems to be dismay too – too much of a good thing maybe...(what happened to always leaving the audience wanting a little bit more...?!)
The X Factor judges will be in Dublin today for the first time since 2010.
It’s the last day of auditions – all other locations have been filmed and the producers have already been here, so we'll see whoever they picked.
They’re looking for personality as well as singers – and they’re also looking for great TV so if you’ve been called back it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a great singer...
