After a couple of months away from the TV screen, The Late Late Show returns with a bang (well it's more of a limp pop) tonight. Iano gave the excitable host a tinkle to learn more about it's much anticipated opening show.
Ryan is like a greyhound out of the traps (in his eagerness - not appearance) when he asks Ian, "Can you smell it?". He's delighted to take the hot seat for another term and knows the audience will be well happy with tonight's star-studded line up.
We were on the edge of our seats too, as he bigged-up the first edition, but as he continued to speak the air started to shoot out of our balloon pretty quick. This season is going to see more specials than ever before - the usual ones like Country/Valentine's/Mother's Day/Father's Day...but a "Feast of the Epiphany"?? That sure will be some vision!
To add to the hysteria, they have a member of the ovine family as a billed guest. Now "the ovine family" isn't the name of a band or anything like that - he's actually gonna have a lamb on the show, "ok, we do have a lamb, but it's a very entertaining lamb".
When it comes to the main guests, he has world renowned health and weight loss expert, Dr. Eva Orsmond (slow clap) plus covering the weekend senior hurling final between Galway and Waterford, he has none other then king of the cats, and nothing to do with either county...Henry "The Sheff" Shefflin.
