TRL is coming back and this is the best news ever!
MTV president Chris McCarthy has officially confirmed that the show will return in October. This was the only reason I begged and begged my parent to get NTL back in the day. There was no internet or YouTube, and it was the only way to really see what Britney and Christina were up to! NOSTALGIA ALERT!
It grew into a massive spectacle, filming live in MTV’s Time Square studio.
AND there was a UK one with Dave Berry and that also needs to return!

Celebrity Big Brother starts tonight at 9pm on 3e!
Shaun Williamson (Barry off EastEnders), Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud, Coronation Street's Shobna Gulati have all been tipped to appear on the show. The Cheeky Girls and Hulk Hogan have also been approached, apparently.
I’m sure the normal formula will apply; a couple of Americans who were famous 20 years ago, some Brits who were famous 20 years ago, a few people who were never actually famous and maybe an Irish person who has a really good agent.
Operation Transformation is back in September, and the celebrities have been revealed.
It’s Ireland so unless you’re Bono, perhaps “celebrity” is stretching it...
Mary Byrne, Gary O'Hanlon, Triona McCarthy, James Patrice and Kayleigh Cullinan have been confirmed to take part in the four-part series which will air in September on RTÉ One.
