So we had the privilege of The Coronas in studio this morning, and the lads treated us to a bit of the old, and the new.
Danny, Conor, Graham, Dave and Johnny (don't forget Johnny) were in at the crack of dawn to setup their impressive arrangement, in order to wow us throughout the show.
The lads were in primarily to perform their new, heartfelt song 'Give Me A Minute', and chat about their upcoming Irish gigs and latest album 'Trust The Wire', but they also had tonnes more good stuff up their sleeves.
Ian asked Danny about the mysterious video for their new track, and he revealed the owners of the house in the footage, even though the owners still don't know.
Róisín O's (Danny's sister) jingle gets a spin to warm us up for The Coronas first Breakfast Show jingle, and our mouths were watering in anticipation #DanTheBaker
A Today FM advert also features because Ian tells the lead singer, "every time I hear it I think of you". He was well impressed.
They have a chat about their time on the Today FM ski holiday a couple of years back (where Johnny made a name for himself supposedly), tell us of their world tour dates between now and the end of December, and sing one of our (and everyone's) favourite songs from their debut album 'Heroes or Ghosts' - which is celebrating a decade, believe it or not.
Ten years (TEN!!!) since this was released - @TheCoronas performed a special rendition of 'Heroes or Ghosts' for @IanDemspey! #TheCoronas pic.twitter.com/wKsLxICzXe

They finish out the show with their own unique, and first-time The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show jingle. As Ian said, "you'll be hearing that again a lot".
Their three Olympia gigs in December are sold out, but there are still some tickets for their show in the INEC - Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on Friday the 29th of the same month - so get them while you can.
Class stuff from the lads as always!!
