The Brit Awards were on last night, and it’s so refreshing to see an awards do where people are actually letting their hair down and having fun (read: drinking copious amounts of wine).
Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith were last night’s biggest winners, winning 2 awards each at the Brit Awards.
Apart from The Big Fall, there were a few other noteworthy bits; Taylor Swift opened the show with Blank Space, Ellie Goulding announced Taylor as Best International female by saying “The winner is...my very good friend, Taylor Swift” – Taylor then accepted the award, thanking everyone she’s ever met in the UK...apart from Ellie. Never mind Ellie – your dress was spectacular.
Kanye West's performance was muted for most of it, which was tough seeing as he had to follow Ed Sheeran and Paloma Faith won for Best British Female – and her performance later on showed us all just why. Next year, I am blagging a ticket for the Brits. You read it here first.
Ta for all your lovely messages, we really enjoyed it. We're stuck in A&E with @Madonna. Still an hour wait..... 😞 #BRITs2015. D
