The TV Choice Awards took place in London last night and Emmerdale was named best soap - beating EastEnders, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks for the first time ever.
Lacey Turner won Best Actress for her role as Stacey Slater in EastEnders.
Shayne Warde won Best Newcomer for Aidan Connor in Corrie.
Danny Miller won Best Soap Actor, This Morning won Best Daytime Show and Downton Abbey won Best Drama Series
ITV bosses have been in close talks with Ryan Lochte about competing in this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Since his...story-telling... in Rio, 32-year-old Ryan has been targeted by a string of reality TV programmes.
He’s currently signed up to Dancing With The Stars in the States which kicks off next week, and ITV have said that if Ryan leaves Dancing With The Stars early, he’ll be flying straight to Australia.

Actress Tina Hobley has said she has struggled to drive, dress and wash her hair since an accident on the Channel 4 reality show The Jump.
She broke her arm in two places and injured her knee and shoulder in a fall in the celebrity sports programme in February. Here’s a list of other injuries that occurred:
Beth Tweddle injured her spine, Mark Francis Vandelli fractured his ankle, Rebecca Adlington dislocated her shoulder, Linford Christie pulled a hamstring, Joe Swash chipped a bone in his shoulder, Sarah Harding injured a ligament and Heather Mills hurt her knee and thumb.
And they’re thinking of bringing this horror show back.
Elaine Crowley has said she’ll do a nude photo shoot to show off her weight loss after Operation Transformation! She may have said it tongue in cheek – she also said she won’t be able to watch the show when it airs tomorrow night. She’s a producer but has no control over the production of this show so that’ll be hard for her. She won’t be wearing the crop top though – that’s the part of the show I hate too as it’s completely unnecessary.
