Graham Norton’s debut novel ‘Holding’, which is about a murder in a rural Irish community, is to be turned into a TV series. Blueprint Pictures, the production company behind ‘In Bruges’ has confirmed that they’ve bought the rights to the novel. The launch was held in London last night and during his speech, Graham joked that it was sold for a tidy little number. Happy days!
This has to be one of the weirdest celebrity friendships – apparently, Harry Styles from One Direction is now best mates with Nathan Followhill from the Kings of Leon and they even have matching tattoos! According to Nathan’s brother, Caleb, the pair struck up a friendship two years ago but that Nathan is like Harry’s little groupie, there’s a man crush thing going on.
Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden’s Boyzlife tour kicks off in London this weekend. The tagline is Stories, Laughter & Music so presumably, the lads will be performing a medley of Boyzone and Westlife hits and share some of their stories from the road. Now, if you were a big Westlife or Boyzone fan and this sounds like your cup of tea, the lads are coming to Dublin and there are still tickets available. Mel is here in Ireland for the next couple of weeks filming The Professor & The Madman and producers are looking for Irish extras for his movie. But you must meet a very specific set of requirements and measurements because it’s set in the 1800s. You can throw out your fake tan because they doesn’t want any of that. Also, if you’ve plucked your eyebrows to within an inch of their life, you’re in trouble, they want natural brows. Shellac nails are a no go, as is dyed hair, tattoos and body decoration.
