It’s Thanksgiving in the US today, and even though it’s not a celebrated holiday over here, we asked the listeners of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show what they are thankful for in their lives. You’re a lucky bunch, and you all know it. Here are some of the heart-warming texts we received:

A big thank you to my wonderful sister Yvonne Loughrey who has always been there for me. She celebrates her birthday today - Thanksgiving Day.
Ian, I'm grateful for my hubby Mark who is trying to finish a PhD. Got to bed at 1am, electricity went at 1.30 so he got up when it came back on at 5am and went out to sort the heating for us to wake up to. Thank you Mark White xx Nessa
