IFPI, the organisation that represents the recorded music industry worldwide, has named Taylor Swift the world’s best-selling recording artist of 2019. This is the second time Swift has won the award; the first time being in 2014. The top 5 are:

- Billie Eilish (UMG)
- Queen (UMG)
Maura Higgins has announced that she has split up with her boyfriend Curtis Pritchard, who she met on Love Island. Posting on her Instagram story, the Dancing On Ice star said that the pair "tried to make it work but it wasn't to be".
