Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Fallon on Monday night. It was his first show back since his mother passed away and she sang New Years Day from her new album Reputation. The reason she chose this was because of the lyrics “you squeeze my hand three times” and Jimmy said that what he and his mother used to do to each other to say I love you, and when she was in hospital, unable to squeeze his hand, he knew they were in trouble. Everyone was crying; all the staff, Jimmy, the audience.
