The University of Law in the UK have tracked down some of the bizarre laws surrounding the holiday.
In Alabama, you can be fined for dressing as a fake nun or priest. In the same state they have a very specific law that you can't wear a funny moustache when attending church at Halloween.
In the village of Vendragues in France, you'll be arrested if you wear a clown costume. That law came into effect after a spate of 'killer clown' sightings in recent years.
In Hollywood, California, spraying silly string is prohibited for the entire 24 hours of October 31st. If you're caught spraying it, you could be fined up to $1,000.
In the town of Bellville, Missouri, trick or treating is banned if you’re over the age of 13 and in country of Jordan, Halloween is banned entirely.
