We don't know if this is inventive or just plain ridiculous...
A driver in Cork has been stopped because they were using a spoon as an ignition key.
Bandon Gardai stopped the van beacuse it had no tax or certificate of roadworthiness and, of course, was using cutlery for a ignition key.
The Gardaí stepped up to the plate once again (sorry!). This time, they tweeted that they stopped the van "at a fork in the road" and that you could "cut the tension with a knife".
