Together they are called the Impossible Orchestra – the whole thing was pulled together to promote BBC music.
Each artist sings a single line from the 1966 song.
And it was broadcast across all BBC television and radio channels at the same time – blanket coverage last night... Its going to be released as a charity single to raise money for Children In Need, and all the artists gave their time free.
Kylie Minogue pointed out that she wasn’t born when the song was released “but it’s one of those classics only gets better with time.”

Interviewed yesterday evening on BBC Radio 1, Cheryl confidently answered some of the questions in French. When the host asked Cheryl whether she would be performing at all on The X Factor this year, instead of replying in English, she said 'Oui oui je suis', which translates as 'yes yes I am'.
During the live interview, she also confirmed that US mega stars Taylor Swift and Pharrell Williams would also be appearing on the show to perform.
