Alf Clausen has been fired from The Simpsons after 27 years of providing music like See My Vest, We Put The Spring In Springfield and the opening big-orchestrated theme.
The company is seeking “a different kind of music” and the will no longer be scoring the longtime Fox hit.
He is believed to be the most-nominated composer in Emmy history, with a total of 30 nominations overall. Why ruin a great thing?!
Ofcom has received a load of complaints about Bear Grylls TV show the other night on Channel 4.
The show is called Celebrity Island and it shows celebrities being left on an island on an uninhabited Pacific island for 28 days to fend for themselves – like a more serious I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. There was a swear word every 40 seconds – with 52 F-bombs dropped in one show.
Dermot O'Leary says a shake-up of The X Factor will be exciting.
It will include fewer live shows and more of the early and middle rounds. There will also be more of a focus on original music.
Dermot - who's become known for his routines on the live shows - says while there may be less dancing aired; he'll be making up for it in his kitchen.
U2 released a new song called Blackout yesterday — although it is apparently not the real single. That is “You’re the Best Thing About Me,” which will be unveiled on Sept. 6 along with news about the group’s long awaited “Songs of Experience” album, the sequel to its 2014 release “Songs of Innocence.”
