Irish comedian Sean Hughes died yesterday aged 51.
Hughes was a team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks on BBC Two and had his own Channel 4 sitcom, Sean's Show.
In 1990, Hughes - then 24 - became the youngest person to win the coveted Perrier Award - now known as the Edinburgh Comedy Award - at the Edinburgh Festival.
It's not known what caused his death, but his last tweet announced that he was in hospital:

He had a varied career – he wrote, he acted in Coronation Street and he played Dave in The Committments - a talent scout for Eejit Records. Remember?
If you took shelter from Ophelia yesterday in the Montenotte Hotel in Cork, you would have been treated to an impromptu performance by Nathan Carter! Nathan was supposed to play at Cork’s Opera House last night but the gig was postponed ‘til November 26th. Anyway, what else are you going to do if you’re Nathan Carter only break out the guitar and keep everyone entertained!
Poor Ed Sheeran and Gerard Butler were involved in 2 (separate) road accidents over the last few days – Ed has a broken arm after being knocked off his bike yesterday in London. And Gerard was knocked off his motorbike in LA and was also rushed to hospital – though he has no broken bones.
