On Saturday, Lily Allen tweeted that there was something fishy about Fleur East singing Uptown Funk in the semi final of the X Factor before it was released by Simon’s partner label Sony.

Lily has since removed the tweet, which read:

It is an amazing song and Fleur did it justice but it's still a great example of music industry corruption. #uptownfunk

Simon said: “Lily should stop bleating on about all this. Fleur needed this break, got a chance, she totally killed it.

“The irony is I spoke to Lily about being a judge. And from what I took from the meeting, she was seriously considering it.

“Thank God I said no. She’d be a barrel of laughs.”

Actually – she would be brilliant on X Factor. She'd be more vocal and honest than Cheryl but not as, um, rough as Mel B. Lily for X Factor! Also, I'm not sure if you know, but I met her before, y'know.

Six years before meeting Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, Saul Goodman was a different man. His name was Jimmy, not Saul, and his relationship with the law was less... self-serving. Better Call Saul will premiere exclusively on Netflix this February!

In this scene Mike (the guy who worked as security, private investigator and all-round heavy for Gus in Breaking Bad) is working at a car park and he flattens Saul when he gets smart with him. I was a bit sceptical about Better Call Saul until I saw this clip. Mike’s back. MIKE’S BACK!

Strictly Come Dancing Curse “isn’t a big deal”

Mark Wright has saiud he didn’t waste a second worrying about the The Curse of Strictly, which resulted in attached contestants forming relationships with their dance partners.

“Michelle (Keegan) and I never even discussed it,” insists Mark. “I see why people do because of what’s happened in the past.

"But if you’re in a genuinely happy, strong, beautiful relationship it just doesn’t enter your head. It’s never been a question for us, genuinely.

“We’re a happy couple who trust each other. We don’t think about, ‘Oh, can I trust him?’ or ‘Can’t I trust him?’ She’s just like, ‘Enjoy it, babe - she looks like a great partner’. And that’s it.”

Okay Mark.
