We learned today that Dog TV is coming to a TV provider near you soon, and at first we poo-pooed (geddit?) the idea, we soon realised that we should paws (heehee) for thought and mark our territory (see?) with a few TV show suggestions for dogs. Thanks to the listeners of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show, we were inundated with Doggy TV Shows - and here they are:
Ian, there’s only one programme for dog TV - "MASTERSHEP" Damo from ballymun
One Dog and His Man
Walkabout
Downboy Abbey
Ian - Dog TV Poodlebox! Sean.
Ruff Justice! Matt in Cork
Fair Shitty
There's a Batman movie coming to the Dog Channel. It's called The Bark Knight.
Gearoid was on a bit of a roll on Facebook:
Gearoid Breathnach - Game of Bones
Gearoid Breathnach - The Walkies Dead.
Gearoid Breathnach - Canine O'Clock News ???
They Think It's All Rover!
Anne Clark - Bark to the Future
One listener got VERY animated; Jaysus Ian, I had a quick look at that dog TV & I don't know what came over me - I got this terrible urge to eat one of my wife's slippers, but once she let me out the back to have a pee up against the wheelie bin I was grand!!!
And Twitter got in on the action too:
