Poldark star Aidan Turner has turned down Late Late Show appearances as he doesn't want to be a celebrity here.
He says, “Ireland is where my family and friends live and I don’t want anyone to see me that way. I have no desire to be famous there.”
Well, you can't look THAT GOOD and expect to get away with it, Aido.
The #AskPoldark Twitter Q and A was one of the most entertaining things I've witnessed in a while - precisely none of the questions directed to Aidan had anything to do with the TV show. Questions such as "How do I refrain from licking my flatscreen TV" and "Does your bottom get sore from all the horse-riding?" prevailed, which must have delighted Aidan (albeit secretly).
I’m just going to leave this here:
George Clooney has taken a restraining order out against...everyone. A number of public notices have been posted around his house in Lake Como, warning residents and visitors that they will be fined if they leave a car or boat within 100 yards of Clooney's lakeside property, or if they are spotted loitering nearby. WELL worth the fine.
Caroline Flack has landed herself a new presenting job. She's going to front a summer series of Love Island on ITV2, following in the footsteps of previous hosts Kelly Brook and Fearne Cotton, who hosted the celebrity version a decade ago.
Love Island: Putting a load of pretty people in a house in the sun and hoping they’ll all get off with each other. Caroline, we expected better from you.
A travel ban has been slapped on former One Direction star Zayn Malik. Record label bosses at Syco, which is owned by Simon Cowell, have told him he's not allowed to follow his fiance, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, around on tour.
Little Mix are off travelling to promote their music across the globe.
