The 2014 Special Olympics Ireland Games take place in Limerick from the 12th to 15th June.
1,500 Special Olympics athletes from the 4 corners of Ireland will participate in the 3 day residential Games, in 13 sports competitions.
Out of these Games a team of approx. 140 athletes will be chosen to represent Team Ireland at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles in the summer of 2015.
The aim of Collection Day is to try and raise €500,000 which will go towards covering the cost of the Games
