"The Lord of the Bants" is back, as the 59-year-old dancer and choreographer makes his directorial debut of a full length movie.
Using a new device called an E.P.K (Electronic Press Kit), we got to hear a behind the scenes reel from a British reporter, who interviewed Mr.Flatley on location of his new film. But what's the story with the name? An absolute mouthful, although Mick thinks "catchy isn't it".
Michael tries to explain how "we wanted to do something totally different", yet the more he talks, the more we realise he's made a stereotypical espionage flick. Gadgets. Check. (allen keys are magic pieces of kit). Hanging from a ceiling. Check. And tonnes of scantily clad ladies. Triple check.
As he chatted about his libido in the movie, it reminded me of the Austin Powers sequel: 'The Spy Who Shagged Me'. More power to his elbow...and other parts.
We learn about the incredible fight scenes said to be "mixed martial arts crossed with Irish Dancing", and how he got the definition and colour for his perfect beach bod "I was the first actor to develop a twelve pack".
His explanation of the plot in the movie is where it finally dawned on us, that Flatley is actually losing his own plot. Spuds and microchips?? He grasping...
