Critic’s Choice awards were also on last night and Boyhood emerged as the big winner again. Gone Girl deservedly won for Best Adapted Screenplay and I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but I really liked this film. (Okay, I’ve been banging on about it for weeks)

The Lego Movie won for Best Animated Feature – which is interesting, because it didn’t even make the shortlist for The Oscars (boo, hiss).

Dress of the Night went to Angelina Jolie. Front, back, top, bottom – SEXY.

 

Oscars – like the Golden Globes, only dull. Here are the main nominations, revealed yesterday. I can’t WAIT to see Irish nomination, Song of the Sea. It’s out in March and looks magical. (Trailer below).
