It was only a matter of time before the documentary was made into a movie or a scripted TV series and it looks like it's actually happening!
Nicholas Cage has signed up to play the lead role in a TV mini series about Joe’s fight to keep his zoo and will also serve as an executive producer on the 8 episode series.
