Heather Watson who won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon, and Andy Murray who won the men’s singles each put 29K behind the bar to celebrate their wins on Sunday night.
Which is really generous of them...but that’s half of Heather’s winnings. Andy won 2 million so 29K isn’t going to break his bank. Still, he’s Scottish so....you know.
Noel Edmonds is bringing back a version of Swap Shop. He’s filming a pilot called SOS Sell or Swap where audience members can bid on unusual items up for grabs, or swap them for things they have brought into studio with them. The original Multi-Coloured Swap Shop ran from 1976 to 1982 on BBC and for nostalgia reasons alone, people will love this!
Niall Horan is dating Belgian student Celine Helene Vandycke, according to today’s papers – they were spotted cuddling and kissing during a Mumford and Sons gig in London's Hyde Park on Friday. His rep, however, has said they’re just friends. Friends who stick their tongues down each others’ throats.
Mary Byrne is eyeing up a career in TV, according to the Irish Daily Star today. She was approached by writers earlier this year and is planning to star in a sitcom. She said she can’t say too much but it’s being pitched to the BBC and everything.
