Moonpersons for many persons!
The MTV VMAs were on last night and this year, like most events worldwide, was remarkably different to any other year.
Firstly, the famous Moon Man awards have been replaced by Moon Person awards in keeping with all things equality.
The awards last night paid homage to the strength, spirit and incredible resilience of NYC. Spanning all five boroughs — Brooklyn, The Bronx, Staten Island, Queens and Manhattan – various artists performed at various locations and the whole event was hosted by Keke Palmer.
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, the night's most-nominated artists, walked away with five and four wins, respectively, while BTS dominated in Best Pop, Best K-pop, and Best Group. The Weeknd, meanwhile, nabbed two, and Taylor Swift earned her first in the directing category for her work helming "The Man."
