So after a marathon weekend of GAA in Croke Park, the stage is set for the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final 2017. In just under three weeks time, arch nemesis' Dublin and Mayo go to war for the holy grail of gaelic football.
The new voice of Irish sport, MorGAAn Freeman was pinned to his Croker seat over the weekend, and boy was he spellbound at what he witnessed. He burst into studio this morning to tell Ian all...
Mayo haven't always been his favourite, but like the curly, grey hairs on his head - they're growing on him. He gave credit to a lot of their players, but it was Andy Moran's performance that excited him most, "I love the way Andy drops his shoulders and shimmies his hips". Whereas Kerry...well they just left him feeling empty inside.
Then he moved on to Dublin's annihilation of Tyrone. As far has he's concerned - nobody can touch the Dubs, in fact, he thinks they could be team Ireland full stop, "I think we should just send out these Dubs to represent us at every God damn sport there is...". He also noticed Stephen Rochford's bladder problem.
September 17th it is; a momentous day for both sides as the Yew men try to banish that wretched curse and the boys in blue aim to lift Sam for the third year in a row...
