So the pinnacle of an exhilarating GAA football season took place yesterday, as the mighty Mayo once again succumbed to the power of the Dubs.

The game was tit for tat, and there wasn't an inch between them - until the 76th minute, when Dean 'Rock-Star' Rock drifted over the match winning point in the dying depths of the game.

Football's biggest fan was there, yes, MorGAAn Freeman donned his grey hoodie, and set up shop in the Hogan Stand, where he basked in the ambience of the spectacle.

It wasn't the first epic battle he had been present at though, as he recalled some of the great games in gone-by eras.

Diarmuid Connolly's physique was a huge talking point, and it didn't go unnoticed as the pundit spoke of his, "bulging biceps and glistening veins". Joe Brolly and Pat Spillane were also creaming themselves.

With such a high tempo to the game, Mr.Freeman was wrecked in the stands looking at them, as his heart went out to Mayo. He too knows, "how it feels to be stuck in hell for sixty six years".

Have a listen to his narration in full here:
