After a phenomenal Sunday for Tribesfolk of all ages in Croker yesterday, MorGAAn Freeman was at hand to give us his spirited outlook on the final. Both senior and minor men lifted the trophies - a double that will be spoken about for centuries to come.
After 10,590 days, the hurt is over. Mr.Freeman was astounded at the start the westerners made, "Galway came outta the gate like marooned jerseyed greyhounds on crack". He was also astonished at the volume of words Marty Morrissey was able to spurt out in a short space of time, "They should bring back that God awful show 'Talk About' and just put Marty on every God damn week".
The American actor isn't used to rural Ireland just yet, and was puzzled at the amount of the same surnames on the team, "they got so many Burkes they're running outta christian names".
Even though Waterford were beaten, he still believes in the blaa and shows this in his "I hope" piece at the end of his GAA final montage.
