Every Tuesday, we dedicate this segment to the songs that bring you right back to a very specific time in your life - first love, exams, moving out from home, backpacking around the world, nights out, nights in, going to college, bad jobs, falling in love, falling out of love, weddings and babies.
Today's Milestone Music Moment was brought to us by Miriam Clarke in Dublin, with a tune that always reminds her of travelling New Zealand back in 2007, and a bungee jump that didn't quite go to plan.
On meeting a random thrill-seeker along the way, Miriam unwittingly accepted the challenge of a bungee jump off the AJ Hackett Bridge. What's the worst that could happen? It's not like the guy would bale out on her or anything, or that the ropes wouldn't be attached the right way...hardly.
Ignorance certainly is bliss!!!
Tom Petty's "Learning To Fly" has a big part to play in the finalé of the tale, and it will surely remind her of that one moment in time.

If you've a milestone of your own, we'd love to speak to you. Email your story to breakfast@todayfm.com
