Every Tuesday, we dedicate this segment to the songs that bring you right back to a very specific time in your life - first love, exams, moving out from home, backpacking around the world, nights out, nights in, going to college, bad jobs, falling in love, falling out of love, weddings and babies.
For coming on the show and sharing your Milestone Music Moment, we'll send you a lovely momento of your story. You will receive all the elements of the tale - the date, lyrics of the song and more, all on a beautifully finished poster for you to treasure.
This week's Milestone was brought to us by Larry Havens in Portarlington, Co.Loais, with a track that teleports him back to the Christmas of 1995, when he bought a new CD player, and a new single that would lead him on a path of musical devotion for life.
It was the B-side of the single that really caught his attention, and causes most controversy between fans of the band. The lead singer has said that it is the best song the band has ever written, and they've written quite a few classics.
The band are of course Oasis, and the song is "The Masterplan"; a real anthem, and the one that puts Larry in "the zone" every time he hears it. He has followed the brothers throughout their solo careers too and knows EVERYTHING about them both (as Ian found out).
Once a Gallagher, always a Gallagher I suppose...
