These are only a snippet of the boasts both men have from their beloved county.
The Liam McCarthy cup is polished, the Croker grass has been laid like a carpet and the sliotars are already doused in petrol (helps harden them) - so the stage is well and truly set for the All Ireland GAA Senior hurling final on Sunday.
To help tantalise our zest even more, we said that we'd give proud Tribesman, Michael D Higgins, and Waterford stalwart, Mossy Henebry a shout to see why they think their teams should win.
President Higgins called upon the sacred words of W B Yeats to help convey the importance of the game, "Joe Canning tread softly, for you tread on my dreams". Mossy on the other hand, reminisces on the sixty odd years since they lifted Liam and states, "There's only so long you can get by, by saying that the best thing out of Waterford is Keith Barry".
The lads were only too happy to gloat to Iano about all their respective county's greatness, and the reasons they give are hilarious!! #ThatsGalway #ThatsWaterford
