With the All-Ireland Final on the horizon, and GAA fanatics excitement at kid-on-Christmas-morning levels, the Breakfast Show needed to get a true Dub and a Mayo warrior on air to gives us both perspectives.
We found two perfect campaigners to enlighten the nation (neutrals'n all), as Al welcomed former Taoisigh, Enda Kenny and Bertie Ahern on the phone lines.
Both men were psyched up for the call, and the weekend in general, as one is looking for an end to sixty six years of turmoil, while the other seeks an impressive three-in-a-row.
The lads have sooooo many things to boast about from their respective homelands, but Enda sums it up best with this Mayo stereotype, "Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin shoving a Kelly's black pudding into Mary Robinson's mouth in The TF Royal".
Bertie thinks he's hit the nail on the head with his reference, "Colin Farrell getting the shift off Imelda May in Coppers while she sings Molly Malone".
Gas scenes altogether, but they're only the tip of the iceberg!!
