Maura Higgins was lauded as the star of Love Island this year for her strong and outspoken personality, and even though it wasn’t being shown in the US, many stars like Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham spoke of their love for her.
Amy Schumer even recorded a video in which she says: “I want to give a shout out to Maura. She’s just like my homie, I feel very connected to her.”
Anyway – Maura has officially MADE IT, after being parodied on comedy sketch SNL. Here’s a clip… and the less said about that accent, the better.
