The apparition, of all apparitions, occured in the northwest of the country yesterday as "his holy sexiness", Marty Morrissey, gave a talk at the Basilica in Knock, county Mayo.
Thousands of his admirers flocked to the holy land to see their idol in the flesh, and listen to his velvety words of positivity. The charismatic Clare man wowed the crowd with his insight into a better you, capping it off with his catchphrase, "I'm Marty and I love to party" (we went weak at the knees ourselves).
Primary school teacher, Breeda Mulcahy does a powerful reading to portray his miraculous nature - he later crowd surfs on his departure, to an beautiful rendition of "Amazing Marty".
We couldn't miss this opportunity to witness the highlight of the nine day novena, so the Gift Grub mics were delicately placed and picked up all his words of wisdom.
