Noel Gallagher has been given a major credit on Louis Tomlinson’s debut solo album.
Louis’ new single Walls, which also happens to be the album title, credits Gallagher as “lyricist and composer”.
Walls has similar elements from three Oasis classics: Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Cast No Shadow and Acquiesce, whose chorus is practically identical.
Louis was clearly aware of this and, to avoid a potential lawsuit, went to Noel for permission and got it (for a price).
