Liam Neeson has revealed that he was turned down for a big role because he was too short.
Now, just to give some context, Liam is 6ft 4 so he’s not small by any stretch.
He was auditioning for the part of Fessik in The Princess Bride, which he said was a pretty big deal to him at the time.
He went to meet the director who took one look at him and said ‘HE’S NOT A GIANT’.
So, Liam was told that he was too small and was sent on his way.
The role ended up going to Andre The Giant who was over 7ft tall.
