Simon Cowell isn’t just an extremely mean man, he’s also very very petty. Niall Horan has been BANNED from singing his new single This Town on the X Factor live shows – because he signed with Universal, and not Syco.
Speaking about Niall's debut single, Simon said
"He probably would have had a No 1 single if he’d stayed with me.
"But you know who does have a No 1 this week? James Arthur. Very pleased he’s back with us with a fantastic record... Hashtag loyalty."

Beverley Callard (Liz McDonald) is the first Coronation Street actor to admit that there is a blanket ban on the cast from appearing on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing – and she’s gutted because she reckons she’s a spiffy dancer.
It is not the first time Corrie bosses have got tough with the cast – making them work on Saturdays, and slapping them with a mobile phone ban after some members shared photos of the “new look” Rovers Return before the grand reveal.
And earlier this year the cast were livid when bosses told them not to take panto work.
Tough aul life for them alright.
