Gotham is coming
Being a superhero is one of the most desirable roles in Hollywood, and Game of Thrones actor Kit Harrington might just be about to add his name to the Caped Crusader Hall of Fame.
Famed for playing Jon Snow in the HBO series, and with the show soon ending with the final series, Kit's odds of slipping into the Batsuit have been slashed by bookies over the weekend.
He's now at 33/20 (on average) to take the reigns from Ben Affleck but he's not the only man in the running to become Gotham City's Bruce Wayne.
According to reports from Deadline, Warner Bros. have set the release date for the next Batman movie for June 25th, 2021. And with the film focusing on a younger version of Wayne, Affleck knows it isn't right for him.
Other names being tossed about are Ryan Gosling, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd Rock from the Sun/Inception), Mad Men's Jon Hamm and Jake Gyllenhaal, with the latter being closest in the odds market.
We think Jake or Kit could bring it back to the glory days of Christian Bale. Soz Ben.
