It was a tough night for the Irish women's rugby team as it was a make or break World Cup game against France, and unfortunately, "Les Bleus" came with a wrecking ball. Three first half tries were enough to see off the Irish challenge.
We couldn't make the game, so we needed someone who was there, someone with an in-depth knowledge of the game, a master analyst - so we contacted Joan Burton (obviously).
The high-pitched Minister was flying the green flag at the UCD Bowl last night, so Iano asked her to pop in to studio to give us her expert update.
She definitely takes the scenic route with her descriptions but her detail startled us, and that player name pronunciation...highly impressive!
"It was a beautiful evening in Belfield"....
