The couple exchanged vows in front of friends at their 20million Bel Air Mansion.
Guests including Lisa, Emily Blunt, Chelsea Handler, Howard Stern, Sia , Ellen DeGeneres & Portia di Rossi were told they were going to Justin’s 44th birthday but instead it was a wedding celebration.
A walkway was set up over the pool and covered the with tables and candles and a large bar. A cake with two puppets on top was also spotted going into the space before the ceremony. Looking at the setup, it appears it was a very intimate occasion, with only about 70 guests in attendance.
Courtney Cox served as maid of honour and Scott Campbell as best man.
They met when working together on the film "Wanderlust." They got engaged about 18 months into the relationship, with Theroux popping the question on his 41st birthday.
The most recent pictures showed them boarding a plane to what's thought to be Bora Bora for their honeymoon.

Powerhouse couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie star as husband and wife in the upcoming film By the Sea, due for release in November and the trailer has been released. It shows a couple in 1970's whose marriage appears to be breaking down and the film was written and directed by Angelina Jolie Pitt.
It's ten years since they last played a married couple in 2005 flick Mr and Mrs Smith.

THE Spice Girls, the most successful girl group in history, are set to reunite without Victoria Beckham.
Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B will reform for an international tour next year to mark the 20th anniversary of the band’s debut single Wannabe, which was released in 1996 and catapulted the five-piece to global stardom.
Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice, posted a picture of an official Spice Girls photo album on Twitter and wrote: “love my Spice Girls.” But not enough to take time from her massive fashion empire.
Together Ginger, Posh, Baby, Scary and Sporty sold more than 75 million records and had nine number ones. Their debut album, Spice, made them the fastest-selling British act since the Beatles.
Cole played the Cockney wheeler dealer Daley for 16 years, between 1979 and 1994. He also starred in a number of St Trinian's films as shady businessman Flash Harry.
Cole played opposite Dennis Waterman's Terry McCann, an affable bodyguard, in ITV's Minder for more than a decade.
